I never tire of shooting Hindu Weddings. The sheer amount of colour and ritual almost inundates the senses. This Hindu Wedding, that took place in Colombo, Sri Lanka, was particularly special as the bride, Geshany, is a brilliant artist known for her fantastic awe inspiring mural work, among other art. Geshany was dressed by Anusha, one of the stalwarts of the Hindu Wedding makeup industry. While I’ve shot so many of these ceremonies, I find something new to appreciate each time I photograph a Hindu Wedding, and in this one I looked for a lot of little details that stood out to me.
