With Janeesha and Buddhi’s Poruwa Wedding at the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka in December 2022 we’ve probably covered 200+ Sri Lankan weddings, and probably close to the 500th wedding that we’ve photographed in total. We still love doing it, and we approach each wedding with the zeal and gusto of our very first one. The challenge that even other photographers constantly ask me about is ‘how do you take unique pictures when you get the same locations repeatedly?’
The answer is always the same – the one thing that differs between all of this is the couple and their story. As long as we focus on giving it our all to capture this, we always end up with pictures as unique as the couple.
