Saloni was worried about the guests comfort, for her and Aniket’s June wedding in Dubai. The Westin Mina Seyahi, Dubai was the backdrop for their grand, glittering event filled with fun, family and sheer joy.
Aniket is camera shy at first, and we wondered how we could get him comfortable enough. But with a little gentle coaching and encouragement from his elegant bride, Saloni he quickly warmed up and forgot about our cameras.

The couple enjoyed each other’s company, as they explored the grounds of the Westin Mina Seyahi – the rear of the hotel opening up into a perfectly manicured estate – gently graded and finished with the ubiquitous Dubai date palm, ideal for wedding photos.
Saloni, being an incredible dancer and charismatic personality is strongly individualistic, choosing independent designers for her wedding outfits, and had envisioned a stylish, editorial motif for all her events.

One memory stands out from this wedding, of Saloni’s exquisite Gujarati bridal lehenga, in dusty rose gold and turquoise for the summer, and adorned with fine, traditional kundan jewellery – she chose extensive mirror work for her gown. Together we chose a room with a bright chandelier at the Westin – Dubai – where the light reflecting the mirrors projected a bright constellation all over the halls, as the Dubai sun drifted low in the afternoon.

The couple’s loving family played a major role in the events, especially Saloni’s sisters, who flanked her as she made her spectacular entrance at the reception. The Vidaai, as always, was emotional -making for wonderful, artistic wedding photographs, and documentary moments. This Dubai wedding was one to remember – a beautiful couple, a regal wedding party and warm early summer days to remember for the rest of our lives.
