Linda and Damian waited 3 years to celebrate their late winter wedding in Dubai. As Covid19 delayed their plans to be married in the tropical island of Sri Lanka (also where Linda is originally from) in late 2019, we waited in anticipation to be a part of their celebration.
Three years later they chose the Park Hyatt Dubai, a stylish wedding venue, and a hotel that pays tribute to Old Dubai, nestled between a shoulder of the Creek and the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club, the hotel commands views of both.
It was the perfect venue, and a sublime day to celebrate a wedding in Dubai – the air was crisp and cool, as Damian – looking dashingly handsome awaited his bride at the foot of the elegant imperial staircase that spills into a freshly mowed lawn edged with date palms. As Linda descended the stairs in her elegant wedding gown – the groom’s face was filled with joy and genuine pride, and the air filled with cheers from the waiting crowd.
The wedding party was intimate and relaxed – family and friends, all tightly knit and close, from work colleagues and school friends to family who had flown into Dubai for the day – it was a day of love, and it was a day of partying well into the night. Linda and Damian, surrounded by their inner circle, and their young daughter had the most incredible wedding celebration in Dubai. We enjoyed being their wedding photographers – and the joyful but relaxed atmosphere filled with love and romance.
